AIRUMEX provides warranty support according to the warranty plan recorded on the customer's bill/invoice.
Warranty Period
The applicable warranty may be:
- 1-Year Warranty
- 2-Year Warranty
- 5-Year Warranty
The customer's bill/invoice should clearly show the selected warranty period and warranty expiry date.
Warranty Start Date
Unless specifically stated otherwise on the bill, the warranty period begins from the applicable purchase/installation date recorded by AIRUMEX.
What the Warranty Covers
During the applicable warranty period, AIRUMEX will provide warranty support for eligible defects in covered purifier components arising under normal domestic use, subject to the terms of the purchased warranty plan.
Repair or replacement will be determined after inspection of the purifier and confirmation that the issue is covered.
Consumable Components
Filters, membranes and other purification consumables naturally wear out through usage and water conditions.
Their replacement eligibility can depend on the specific warranty/service plan purchased by the customer. They should not automatically be described as free under every warranty plan unless the customer's plan specifically includes them.
Warranty Does Not Normally Cover
Warranty may not apply to damage or failure caused by:
- Physical or accidental damage.
- Improper handling or misuse.
- Unauthorized repair, modification or tampering.
- Damage caused by unsuitable electrical supply, voltage fluctuation or external electrical problems.
- Damage resulting from external plumbing or water-supply problems.
- Pest, insect, rodent, fire, flooding or other external damage.
- Moving or reinstalling the purifier improperly.
- Use contrary to AIRUMEX installation or operating instructions.
- Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect purifier operation.
- Consumables that have reached their normal replacement condition, unless specifically covered by the purchased plan.
Water Quality & Component Life
Filter and membrane life can vary depending on water source, input-water quality, consumption and usage conditions. Therefore, component life cannot be assumed to be identical for every household.
Unauthorized Service
Repairs, modifications or replacement of internal parts by unauthorized persons may affect warranty coverage where that work causes or contributes to the problem being claimed.
Making a Warranty Claim
Customers should:
- Raise a service request through the AIRUMEX app or contact AIRUMEX support.
- Provide the registered mobile number/bill details when requested.
- Explain the problem accurately.
- Allow an authorized technician to inspect the purifier where necessary.
Proof of Warranty
AIRUMEX's bill/invoice and corresponding company records will be used to verify the product, warranty plan and warranty period.
After Warranty Expiry
Service may continue to be available after warranty expiry, but applicable service, spare-part and consumable charges may apply. Charges should be communicated to the customer before chargeable work is carried out.
